The Six O’clock Solution helps manage meal times by simplifying meal preparation.  Join us for a fun, friendly session in our kitchen and leave with fresh meals you have customized to your family’s taste.

The Process Is Easy

1. Visit our website and review our monthly menu of great tasting, healthy entrees.
2. Select the amount of meals and serving size that makes the most sense for you and your family.
3. Click on Book your session or call us at 860 656-6644 to reserve a date and time that fits  your busy schedule.
4. Next stop by the store for your prescheduled session to assemble your entrees to your own personal taste - all in less time than it takes to go to the grocery store.
5. Repeat often!

Our monthly menus are created from recipes that have been tested repeatedly by preparing, freezing, thawing, and cooking in a residential kitchen just as you will.  If the recipe doesn’t pass our tests, it doesn’t go on our menu.

When you arrive for your kitchen session, make yourself comfortable.  Help yourself to an apron and get acquainted with the other people in the session.  Before you get started, a member of our team will give you a list of the meals you will prepare, an apron to use and a brief tour of our kitchen.  Next, you will be given instructions on how to use the recipe stations and food safety rules to follow. You will then be assigned a space in our refrigerator to keep your completed meals until you are ready to go. 

Our friendly, helpful staff will be there to guide you and answer any questions you have along the way.

Because you have the final say in preparing your meals, you will be able to adjust the selections to your own taste.  For example, if a recipe calls for mushrooms but you don’t care for them, then simply leave them out.  Or perhaps the recipe calls for a teaspoon of garlic but you love garlic, then add a little extra (then have a mint).
Because you can adjust the seasonings, you will be able to please even the pickiest eaters.

After you are finished preparing a meal, you will place it on your shelf in the refrigerator.  You then move to the next station and make your next selected meal.  Our staff will clean up behind you leaving each station ready for our next friend.

When you are finished preparing your meals, we will help you pack your cooler or bag and make sure you have not forgotten anything. 
The hardest part is deciding which meal you will cook first!

The Right Solution for You
The Six O’clock Solution, LLC offers a variety of different meal selections each month.  Our recipes are inspired from around the world and include chicken, beef, pork, seafood and pasta recipes.  Ready for you to make, take, freeze and cook at home. Each meal you prepare comes with cooking instructions ranging from grilling, baking, sautéing and crock pot favorites too.  Look for new menu selections each month.

Our meals are individually priced and available in two different sizes.

We do not a have a minimum order or any other hidden fees or dues.

Small meals will feed 2-3 people
Large meals will feed 4-6 people

• I will follow the rules of conduct related to the use of The Six O’clock Solution kitchen during my assembling session.
• I will not attend my session at The Six O’clock solution if I have, or have been exposed to any communicable diseases including a cold, flu, or gastrointestinal illness, etc...
• I will promptly freeze (at a temperature below 0° F) the meals I have prepared at The Six O’clock Solution, following the conclusion of my assembling session.
• I will keep all meals that I have assembled below 40° F while in storage in the refrigerator.
• I will follow the cooking instructions specified on all meals.
• When cooking my meals I have prepared, I will cook the food to an internal temperature above 145° F for Steak, 155° F for fish or ground beef and 165° F for poultry.
• I assume full responsibility for the transportation and proper storage of all of the meals I have prepared at the Six O’clock Solution.
• I agree to release the Six O’clock Solution from all claims, damages and causes of action or liabilities which may arise as a result of my preparation, storage and consumption of The Six O’clock Solution meals.
• I will not resell the meals I have prepared at The Six O’clock Solution or use them for commercial service.
  

Cancellations or "no shows"  without any notification are subject to a 25% cancellation fee.

Because we are dealing with food safety issues any advanced notice you can give us of a possible delay or need to rechedule is greatly appreciated.

Life is unpredictable and we understand; in this event we will work with you to reschedule your session within one week of your original session date without penalty.  If you wish we will prepare your meals for an additional dollar per meal if time allows.

Inclement weather - Please contact your local store during inclement weather situations to check the status of your session more often than not the store will be open so call us  if you are delayed or can't make. In the case of a private party we will be in contact with the hostess who will decide whether to delay or reschedule.
